This isn't the usual, dominant Warriors team that we're used to seeing heading into the first round, but they still have plenty of firepower. Basically, if the Warriors play up to their potential offensively, even without Steph Curry, the Spurs simply won't be able to score enough points to keep up with them. Kevin Durant creates incredible matchup problems for the Spurs if Leonard is unable to play, so he should be the focal point for Golden State.


This is probably the least intimidating Spurs team of the past two decades, but they're still the Spurs. Without Leonard's two-way excellence, head coach Gregg Popovich is going to have to put on a master class of coaching and the Spurs will have to execute to perfection. Not only that, but LaMarcus Aldridge will have to be the best player on the court in numerous games if San Antonio is going to stand a chance.

According to SportsLine data scientist Stephen Oh, Golden State has a 99.4 percent chance to win the first round and a 78.9 percent chance to reach the conference finals.

Can the Wizards duplicate their Game 3 performance to even the series in Game 4? We'll have to wait and see. The Raptors looked dominant in the first two games, but Washington turned the tables on Friday night in the nation's capital.
John Wall has been outstanding, and Bradley Beal finally broke out of his funk. This Wizards team isn't your typical No. 8 seed, so it will be interesting to see if they can turn into a real threat to upset the No. 1-seeded Raptors.

They just continue doing what they've done all season. The Raptors have been the best team in the East all season long. Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan have done their usual work and the bench has been spectacular. As long as they trust in what has gotten them here and don't revert to bad habits when things get tough, they should be fine.

The "Playoff Raptors" show up and John Wall plays like an All-Star. Toronto has had a habit in the past of no-showing in the playoffs. If Lowry and DeRozan aren't up to their usual best, and the Raptors' bench isn't ready for the moment, then the Wizards are talented enough to make this a series. But they'll need Wall to step up and play like the All-Star version of himself.

After a thrilling Game 3 comeback win, the Indiana Pacers can take a stunning 3-1 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers with a win in Game 4.

The Indiana Pacers destroyed the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of their first-round series, but it looked like order had been restored after a LeBron James explosion in Game 2 and a dominant Cavaliers first half in Game 3.

However, the Pacers flipped the script in Friday’s second half and turned a 17-point halftime deficit into an improbable 92-90 victory to take a 2-1 series lead. Indiana will now have a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead on its home floor Sunday.

Bojan Bogdanovic was the hero in Game 3. Bogdanovic scored 19 of his playoff career-high 30 points in the second half while also playing admirable defense against LeBron. Bogdanovic scored 10 points during a 14-2 run that gave the Pacers a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter, and then he scored five straight points after James went on a personal 7-0 run to tie the game.


Victor Oladipo also played a key role in Indy’s victory. Oladipo didn’t shoot well and struggled at times with Cleveland’s aggressive double-teams, but he stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals.

While LeBron had 28 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists to lead the Cavaliers, he played an uneven game and clearly wasn’t at his best. Still, a little more help would have given Cleveland a win. James’ teammates combined for only 18 points in a 33-point half for the team. Kevin Love only managed three points in the second half after pouring in 16 points in the first half, which saw the Cavaliers go up 57-40.

We've got ourselves a series. The Bucks came out and blew the doors off of the Celtics in Game 3, and now they'll try to even things up in Game 4 in Milwaukee.
Finishing the season at 55-27, the Celtics claimed the No. 2 seed in the East despite a season filled with all sorts of injuries, including season-enders to Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving. As for the Bucks, they finished with a record of 44-38. It was a tumultuous season, filled with injuries and a coaching change, but they're back in the playoffs for a second straight season.

They're able to get enough offensive production. Even with the injuries, the Celtics have still been a strong defensive team, and there's little doubt that end of the floor will be a problem. But without Hayward and Irving -- as well as Smart, who is known more for his defense but is big on the offensive end too -- the Celtics are going to have trouble scoring points. If their youngsters are able to handle the increased pressure of the playoffs and put points on the board, they can win this series. 


Giannis takes over and the Bucks' defense stifles the Celtics. The Greek Freak will be the most talented player on the floor, and the Bucks need him to play like it. There's no reason to expect him to play poorly, but the Bucks can't afford any off nights from their star in this series. In addition, they'll need their defense -- which has been bad at times this season -- to step up and stifle the shorthanded Celtics.
